National Grid - New Pylons
There is a new pylon development across parts of the east of England. There is a consultation about this project that the National Grid which member-councils may wish to provide responses to. This consultation will close on Thursday 16th June 2022.
This is a consultation by the National Grid on their proposal to build a new 400kV electricity transmission line over 180 km (affecting three counties) involving overhead lines and pylons. They have published a preferred route for their project but say in their consultation "the final locations will depend on any potential modifications, following feedback from this consultation."
